My name is Bodie.
I am primary Irish dancer. I started to dance in September 2010 at the age of 20.
The world of ID can be pretty confusing for a newbie but it´s a wonderland I got sucked in pretty quickly - despite quite late age I joined in :)
I´d like this blog to show the beauty and difficulty of Irish Dance through the eyes of beginning dancer.
Because even the best of us were starting with uncooperative limbs, blisters everywhere, second-hand hard shoes and plain dress ;)
And the beauty of it is the amazing height those once confused beginners like us were able to reach.

That feeling you get walking around at a feis or major and you see someone wearing your old solo dress.. Kinda sad but happy too?!
I’d run to them and hug them and screamed “Oh my god, long time no see! But you know what? I really have to be somewhere else now. But it’s so good to see you again!”
and then I’d run away and laughed at their confusion.
